About ADALAM Project
Within this project the goal is to develop an adaptive laser micromachining system, based on ultrashort pulsed laser ablation and a novel depth measurement sensor, together with advanced data analysis software and automated system calibration routines.
The ADALAM project is developing an inline measurement system and supporting technologies/methodologies to increase the accuracy of laser-based micro milling. The animation explains the goals of the project and the system concept for the inline measurement system.
On 15 and 16 September leading industrial and research experts will gather in Brussels for a major conference on the future of manufacturing in Europe – Factories of the Future Conference 2016: Materialising Factories 4.0.
The Photonics Public Private Partnership Annual Meeting will be held on the 1st and 2nd March 2016 in the Le Plaza Hotel in Brussels. The launch of the photonics research and innovation priorities process for Horizon 2020 work programme 2018 – 2020 will be in the focus of the event.
Fraunhofer IPT will participate in the event “High Throughput and High Precision Laser Micro Machining with Ultra Short Pulses”, organised by Swissphotonics and taking place in Burgdorf (Switzerland) on the 4th November 2015.
